Batman and Bruce Wayne have 3 vehicles. They are Bat Tumbler, Bad Pod and The Flying BAT. To ride them while not fighting the crimes (just for fun) he has to pay 10 dollars to Alfred since he designed the vehicles for the Wayne Corporation. But Mr. Wayne also wants to bring three of his side kicks. Their names are Night Wing, Jason Todd Robin and Tim Drake Robin. Totaling, 4 people altogether. Since Alfred had a nice mood and won a lottery, he decided to give them 10 dollar discount. Eventually Bruce Wayne had to pay 42 dollars. How much does it cost for each ride?

Edward and Christina, we enjoyed reading your story! It was really creative, and we could tell that you spent a lot of time on this. However, your story doesn't fit well with the equation. All was going good until "4(3p+10)". Did four people pay together (which will change its sign to dividing)? Or are they bringing their own car? If the 4 people did bring their own vehicles, wouldn't it be "4(3+p+10)", since they are bringing their own? Can you tell us more about the variable, "p"? You can add more detailed information, that will help the reader understand the question more. Even though your word problem flows nicely, we think that it could also be a bit confusing at the same time, to the audience. Right now, the problem is a bit vague to understand. To enhance your question's quality, you can delete some useless information, just to make the problem a bit easier than its original. However, you should add more details, as well. The question itself is challenging enough, which is excellent. Overall, Daniel and Sarah enjoyed reading your question. The Batman idea was purely awesome, good creativity!

Yes, the story fits the equation and its functional. I would write the equation for this word story, and the names make the question clear. There are no grammar mistakes, and it’s creative how they used batman. They used names to make the question more clear, and the numbers were clear too.

The equation is correct, but the story is very, very, very confusing as there are simply too many things happening at once. There are 6 names in total here and it could be reduced down more to reduce confusion. There was some trivial errors in terms of grammar but it doesn't affect the comprehensibility.

Since, EdwardChristina’s Company had discount events, Edward (the CEO of EdwardChristina’s Car Company) decided to give Superman 10 dollars discount.
