The story is a bit creative but with little more work you can make it very interesting and creative. Overall the word problem does make sense and it matches with the word problem so good job !
We like your story problem! It perfectly fits the equation given. But, we would like to see improvements in grammatical mistakes. We found numerous grammatical mistakes regarding making words plural, tenses, and spelling mistakes such as "hit" when we believe it should be "hid". You guys should also exclude some unnecessary words. But in mathematical terms, it works great, we could actually think up the equations in our heads when we were reading your story problem. Nice work!
I think your story's fundamental is good. However, instead of saying Mr. Jobe took two gold bars at once, I think it is better to say Mr. Jobe took one gold bar on two separate times. I also think you need to work on your grammar. The story is creative and if you could fix the problems I talked about I think this story would be very functional.
